Mexican Urban Rock

This Is A Particular Rock Genere Which Only May Find in Mexico, and I´m Glad With this.

The Urban rock Music Arises In Metropolitan Areas, And Often The Musicians Live In Isolation, and the Lyrics Are about the Dialy Life, in Some Things like Depression, Love, Isolation, Drugs, Being Get arrested, Etc.

The Music Structure Is Simple, Using Chords Repeated Throughout The Song, with Lyrics Digestible Without Usin Methapors and Similar Things.

The Most Of The Bands Are In The Underground Scene, They Have no Videos, They Don´t Sign Autographs, not go On World Tours, Etc. But Here´s The Meaning of Their music, This Isn´t For Everyone...It´s Just For Whom Have Lived In A Situation Like In The Song´s Lyrics,and not Everyone Have Lived The Cruelty Neighbothood´s Reality.

The Concerts Are In Almost Every Mexican City At Least One By Week, but Before, Could Not be Done Except Clandestinely. Actually, This Not Happen Anymore.

It's Special Style of These Concert Posters, Pasted With Glue on Walls and Posts Throughout Mexico City.

#1: Kurt Cobain - Nirvana

Nirvana!. Nothing Left To Say. One Of The Greatest Bands Ever. Icon Of A Generation, Anthem For A Decade, Great Songs, Great Music.
Nirvana Marked TheDifference Between The 80´s Music and The New Decade´s Music: The Grunge.
Kurt Donald Cobain, Singer and Composer, Had to fight against Depression, Bronchitis And Other Diseases. He Was Addicted To Heroin, And He Used It To Keep Under Control His Hyperactivity. He tried To Leave It, But He Didn´t.
The First Suicide Attempt Was In rome, With Champagne and Flunitrazepam, He Was Taked To An Hospital, and When He Was Recovered, He Traveled to Seattle.
Many Incidents Happened There,(escaping from rehabilitation, etc.)
And Between April 3 and 5 Cobain Dies.
His Corpse Was found In April 8, 1994, In A room Over His Rented Garage By Gary Smith, Who Believed That the Corpse Was A Manequin An A shotgun Beside The Body. The Autpsy Concluded That Cobain's Death Was the Result of "A Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound In The Head."
The Report Estimates Cobain Died on April 4.

Continuing...Dead From Mayhem, Great Person, Great Music, Great Suicide.
Mayhem Is One Of The Most Inportant Black Metal Bands. I Recomend To Read The Complete Biography.
Per Yngve Ohlin (Dead) Was The Singer, And Also Sang In Morbid, A Sweden Black Metal Band. He Was Quiet, Introvert Offstage. But Really Controvert Onstage. He Was Obsessed With The Death, as His Nickname Shows, He Used to Bury his Clothes Weeks Before Some Concert,and After Unbury Them To Feel "The Death Scence". Also He Has A Bag with Dead Birds that He smell Before every concert to "Inhale The Death smell".
during A concert In Sarpsborg,Norway, Had Provided at The Hospital Because He Cut Too Deep In The Arm.
When He Join To Mayhem, He Sent An Envelope With A Casette, A Putrid Guinea Pig An A Note Saying He Was Looking For Band Because "Morbid" Not Come Any Side.

In April 8, 1991, Øystein Aarseth (Euronymus, Guitarist) Found The Corpse Of Dead, With The Wrists Cutted And A Shot Of Shotgun On The Head, In The Suicide Note Only Was Wrote "Sorry For All The Blood". Appears That He Tried To Cut His Veins (Wrists and Neck) To die In A Nearby forest, But It Takes Too Long, So He Returned To The house And Shoot himself With The Shotgun. Euronymus Bought A Camera and Took Some Photos Before Call the Police. Also, He Took Some Pieces From The Skull and Made A Necklace. Other Pieces Of the "Dead´s" Skull Were Sent to Some Worthy Bands.Is Said To Morgan S. Håkansson From Marduk Still Retains Fragments Of The Skull.

#3: Sid Vicious - Sex Pistols

The Sex Pistols Was An English Punk Rock Band. They Started The Punk Movement In The U.K. and Inspired to Many Punk Musicians. They Have Only A Disc. Sid Vicious Came To The Band To Replace the Last Bassist.
Sid Was Arrested For Murder His Girlfriend Nancy With a Knife, He Was Awoken from a Drugged Stupor when He Find The Corpse On The Bathroom.
The Bail Was $25.000. Ten Days After, He Tried To Suicide Slicing His Wrists.
After, On February 1979,a Gathering to Celebrate His Having Made Bail Was Held at the Home of His New Girlfriend.There, His Mother Have Some Heroin, And Sid Overdose That Night.
Sid Was discovered At The Next Morning. Few Days After, his Mother Found A Suicide Note in the Pocket Of His Jacket:
"We Made a Death Pact, and I Have to Accomplish My Part of The Deal. Please Bury Me Next To My Baby. Please Bury me With My Leather Jacket, Jeans And Motorcycle Boots. Goodbye. With Love, Sid."

#4: Darby Crash - The Germs

In The Place Numer 4 Is Darby Crash (Jan Paul Beahm) Singer From "The Germs", An American Punk Band.
The Germs Were Known As The Band That Made The People Going Mad In Every Gig. Also, Darby Often Arrived Onstage almost Incoherent From Drugs, Singing Everywhere But Into The Microphone and Taunting The Audience Between Songs.The Other Band Members Also Used to Do Similar Things.
The Germs Only Have One Record (GI) after relased as (MIA)The Complete Anthology.
The Germ Become To An End when Darby Contacted Pat Smear(guitarist)About A Germs Reunion, With The Purpose Of Earn Money For Heroin.
On December 3,1980,The Germs Hosted an Over-Sold Live Final Show.at The Point, Darby Said "We Did This Show so You New people Could see What It Was Like When We Were Around. You're Not Going to See It Again"

Crash Commited Suicide 7 December,1980.He Had Overdose On China White Heroin In a Suicide Pact With Close Friend Casey Cola, Who survived. She Said "As He lay Dying, He Attempted to Write "Here lies Darby Crash" on The Wall, But Didn´t Finish" Outside The World of Germs' Fans, News of Darby's Death Was Largely Overshadowed By The Murder of John Lennon the Next Day.

4 Bands, 4 Singers, 4 Suicides

In The Music´s World There Are Many Bands, But I´ll Talk About Those Which their vocalist Commited Suicide And Gained Some Mysticism, Respect And Sometimes Become A Worship Band.
Also, The Suicide Involves Many psychological things That Makes This act a Curious Happening.

And...Why to Read about This Theme? Well, Because The aco of Self Killing Is Considered by Many Persons Like a Crime, A Sin, But It Isn´t, It Goes Beyond From Just Killing Themselves, Because When Someone Decide to Comite Suicide, Isn´t Just for Fun,There Are A Lot Of Different Reasons, And The Reasons that A Musician Can Have Are Very Special, so I Will Talk about this In The Next Posts.
